This weekend we had a great visit to the farm, we rode out on Friday with Denise and Grandma and Grandpa, and arrived at Tim and Penny's just in time to get the party started! Archer had a great time playing with Jessie and Emily, and Shelly was passed from one set of arms to the next while we all talked and told stories for the night. The real fun began on Saturday morning when Archer had a horseback ride, helped Farmer Tim feed the dry cows, saw a new calf that had just been born, helped cousin Jessie feed the calves, and that was all by 8:30 in the morning!
It took us all week to prepare for the overnight excursion to Argyle but the planning and work was definitely worth the time spent with family and the memories we made together.

I had so much fun that weekend with the fam! I've already had requests from Beth (Dan's sister) that she would like to take another trip to go horseback riding. And I think we might need to go back just to make a few more entrys in Penny's 'Wine Sampling Notebook'!
